Club Opening (16 May 2026)

We are scheduled to open on Saturday at 9:00am for the 2026 season!

Court reports are generally updated around 6:15am each day of the week. Just call (518) 438-8846 to receive these reports. Since we hope to open at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, we will update the outgoing phone message later, around 7:15 a.m.

Morning Mix (17 May 2026)

We will run our first "Morning Mix" program on Sunday, May 17th from 8:15 - 9:45am. Larry leads. Arrive early at 8:00am to warm up with other players. Then, we'll congregate at the front table to form groups of 4.
Maximum Limit is 8 players - so hurry to secure your spot.
Do me a favor - While this is typically a "drop-in" program, please email larry@albanytennis.com to let him know you plan to join us. Thank you! I hope to see you early on Sunday.
We'll use courts 2 and 3 for this program.
This program generally attracts low to mid-intermediate players. You don't have to be a Superstar......but this is not for beginner level players.---The Learn and Play program is a better fit for Beginners level players.

Dedication Ceremony (23 May 2026)

ATC will host a short dedication at the club on Saturday, May 23, at 12:15 pm. The event will honor longtime ATC member John Salamida, who donated the necessary funds to purchase our new irrigation system in memory of his mother, Joan Pagano Salamida, and his grandparents, John & Victoria Salamida and Salvador & Sara Pagano.

Please join fellow members in thanking John for his generous donation. And don’t forget your tennis gear if you’d like to play before or after.

Tennis Social (23 May 2026)

We have an important DEDICATION happening on May 23rd from 12:15 - 12:35pm to recognize some past ATC members. I'd like to organize an opportunity to play doubles for a couple of hours AFTER the DEDICATION.

Doubles

Men and Women - sign up as an individual (Larry will provide partners for you and will create level foursomes!
Arrive at 12:10pm to be present for the DEDICATION followed by game play.
All skill levels are welcome. Basic knowledge and functionality in game play (ie. probably not suitable for beginners ....but OK for advanced beginners!!! ) Up to Advanced levels!
FREE for ATC Members; $20 for Guests
Participants are required to bring a can of tennis balls.

Email larry@albanytennis.com to sign up! Just say "I'd like to participate in the tennis social after the Dedication on May 23rd" (Larry will confirm with an email replay).

Community Tennis (30 May 2026)

Larry will direct a "COMMUNITY TENNIS" event on Saturday, May 30th from 1:00 - 4:00pm.
Great way to find new tennis friends!
