Jim Conley Tournament

Jim Conley Tournament is scheduled for

On Tuesday afternoon we hosted the Jim Conley Tournament.  On a hot day we had 24 players participate.  The Tournament was won by (The Great) Jonathan Carp and Frank Rosa.  In second place were Tom Begley and (Bullet) Bill Collins.

2008 Tournament Info

The Jim Conley tournament was held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Twenty-four players participated in a warm, sunny afternoon. The tournament is held each year in memory of Jim Conley, a long-time member who also served on the Board of Directors.

Jim Axford and Jack Simeone bested Craig Jones and Jorge Vidal in a entertaining match for the championship.

Jim was a member of the Albany Tennis Club and was incredibly generous with his time along with a genuine dedication to ATC. He was a member of the Board and voluntarily took over the upkeep of the courts, nets, and general maintenance.
