President Marylee Trudeau Steps Down Marylee Trudeau, president of the Albany Tennis Club for the past three years, has stepped down from the Board of Directors. Marylee has put in many hours on Club business during her tenure and, under her leadership, we have been able to maintain a healthy membership base and a sound financial condition. We’ll all miss Marylee’s presence at Board meetings but look forward to seeing her on the courts. Also stepping down were Bill Sewell and Mike De Rossi. Bill is a longtime member whose knowledge of the Club and its operation has been invaluable to the Board. Bill will continue as an adjunct Board member and continue his work of documenting the history of the ATC. Mike De Rossi has given his time to the Club as a Director despite the heavy workload of running his business. We appreciate his efforts. Elections were held for Board positions and ballots were counted at the Annual Meeting of membership, held on November 16, 2007 at the Albany Pump Station. Current Board members re-elected were: Nancy Kutner, Bernie Kinlan, Hank Linett, Ray Koloski, Bob Sinacore, Ira Bloom, Steve Beditz and Bob Wood. New to the Board this year will be Deborah Onslow, Terry Strong and Dennis McGuire. |
Officers for the 2007-2008 season were elected at the December board meeting - Bob Wood, President; Steve Beditz, Vice-President; Nancy Kutner, Secretary; Bob Sinacore, Treasurer. |
