On Saturday, June 28th the Albany Tennis Club is hosting the "Raise a Racquet for the Homeless Extravaganza" at our eight clay courts in Ridgefield Park in Albany, New York. Play tennis for charity and all of the funds raised will be dedicated to benefit the Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless. The rain date is Sunday, June 29th.
The Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless is an Albany based program which operates a 30 bed emergency homeless shelter along with a Drop in Center for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. IPH was awarded a contract to build 10 units of affordable housing for homeless individuals and families with a disability. Construction should begin in early fall.
The suggested donation is $30.00. Make your check out to "Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless." Sign up today to play on Saturday, June 28th at ATC's special red clay courts.
Sign up with your playing partner and opponent(s) or have the club arrange the match for you. Singles for one hour or doubles for an hour and a half.
